The Essence of Evangelism

What is Evangelism? Evangelism is the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ. It is about sharing the message of salvation, grace, and redemption that is available to all through Christ. But it is more than words—it is a lifestyle, a testimony, and a declaration of God's unfailing love. Why Evangelism Matters Evangelism matters because it saves souls. Each moment of evangelism is an opportunity to bring someone closer to God, to transform lives, and to offer eternal hope. Imagine the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7). That joy is multiplied with every person who embraces the love of Christ. Evangelism is also a beacon of light in a dark world. In times of confusion, fear, and hopelessness, the gospel shines brightly, offering peace, purpose, and a promise of eternal life. The world needs to hear that there is a Savior who loves them, who died for them, and who offers them new life.
